What is an Item Group?

Item groups offers you the ability to group together several different types of objects into a named section within a course, group, folder or category.

This is useful for dividing your course up into sections.  A common scenario would be that your course is broken into different 'modules' and you want to group a Test / Learning Module / Exercise / File in one 'module'.

Adding an Item Group

1. Click ‘Add New Item’, followed by ‘Item Group’.

2. Type the title of the item group in the ‘Title’ field then click ‘Add Item Group’.

3. Next you will be able to group various items together. Click the checkbox next to the item you want to add to the group, click ‘Save’.
