- Although our framework may function on smaller devices, we cannot guarantee full functionality. Some elements are optimized for larger screens.
- Due to some media-rich elements (e.g., video, audio, etc.), it is not recommended to use any mobile networks (e.g., 3G, LTE, etc.). Expect overages if these networks are used.
- With regard to browser specifications, we do not have the capacity to support all known browsers. While we do not tell users which browser to use, if users have issues or problems we can only assist if they are using one of the previously mentioned browsers.
LMS Session Settings
If a user is logged into the LMS but does not have a course open, the LMS will timeout after 30 minutes of inactivity. In this case, after 25 minutes of inactivity, the user will receive a pop-up notice on the screen indicating that their session will time out in 5 minutes. This setting can be reviewed under ‘Settings’, then ‘Session Reminder’. The Session Reminder feature should be enabled and have a lead time of five minutes.
Course Session Settings
Most courses in the LMS are set for an unlimited duration (i.e., open courses will not timeout). This enables a user to successfully complete a course without the risk of a course timing out and their progress being lost. The timeout for a course cannot be specifically adjusted; this would be a CORE change within the system and would only be pursued as a custom request.
